For those of you who made it into the restaurant when we were fully operational, you might remember the wall of herbs we had growing year round. We grew mint, basil, thyme, rosemary and others depending on the season.
Though it was difficult to water a few of the pots that were higher up on the wall, we made sure there were tall employees coming in regularly to help the indoor herb garden flourish. Customers raved about the freshly grown herbs in their salads!
Recently, we came upon an infographic by the team at Purely Shutters that depicts how to grow an indoor garden and save money. This is especially relevant as the temperatures are beginning to drop. Some of these tips would have been quite useful for us back in the day, but now we feel like sharing with those who can still benefit!
